The first step is an Alkaline PH formula that detoxifies and deeply removes buildup and impurities from the hair, preparing it for the smoothing treatment. The second step is a Keratin-based formula that aligns the hair cuticle, providing weightless smoothness and intense shine without frizz. The third step is an intensive restorative formula that restores the hair's pH, providing maximum conditioning, strengthening, and nourishment.
To use the kit, you will need the following essential tools, which are not included: a fine-tooth comb, clips, a color brush, a blow-dryer, a flat iron, gloves, a bowl, towels, and a round/paddle brush. The step-by-step instructions are as follows:
- Apply the Buritiliss Pre-Treatment Shampoo to wet hair, gently massaging and rubbing the hair in the opposite direction, thoroughly along the length of the hair. Rinse and repeat this process to remove all residue.
- Remove excess moisture from the hair, leaving it approximately 80% dry.
- Divide the hair into four sections.
- Wear gloves for this step and beyond. Using a brush, apply the Buritiliss Brazilian Keratin Treatment, starting 1/4 inch from the roots and spreading it evenly towards the ends with a fine-tooth comb, avoiding touching the scalp.
- Dry the hair section by section using cold air only, until it is 100% dry.
- Split the hair into small strands and begin ironing, using 6 to 10 strokes on each strand, from roots to ends. Adjust the temperature based on hair condition: 450°F for normal/resistant hair and 390°F for blond, damaged hair.
- Rinse the Brazilian Keratin Treatment and apply a generous amount of the Intensive Hair Mask, letting it sit for 5 minutes.
- Rinse and finish as desired, either by blow-drying or air-drying.
